Dowex Marathon A is a strong basic anionic Type I exchange gel resin with trimethylamine as functional group. Dowex Marathon A is a heterogeneous catalyst made of styerenedivinylbenzene copolymer.
Application
Dowex Marathon A was used in ion-exchange chromatography.
Strongly basic (type I) anion exchange resin for demineralization, especially suited for water with high concentration of weak ions (silica, CO2), as well as organics-laden feed waters. This resin meets requirements of FDA Food Additive Regulation 21 CFR 173.25.
