Genkwanin, an O-methylated flavone, is a principal non-glycosylated flavonoid present in several plant species; typically in herbs that exhibit anti-inflammatory activities.[1][2]

Application

Genkwanin may be used as an analytical standard for the determination of the analyte in biological samples,[3][4] traditional Chinese medicine,[5] rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) extract[6] and honey samples[7] by various chromatography techniques.
