General description

Erbium(III) Ionophore I [N′-(2-Hydroxy-1,2-diphenylethylidene) benzohydrazide (HDEBH)] is a pseudo-ionophore mainly used in the preparation of highly selective Er(III) membrane sensor.[1]

Application

It was used as pseudo-ionophore in an attempt to test analytical applicability of Er(III) sensor which was further used as a indicator electrode during titration with EDTA of Er(III) ions.[1]
