General description

Imiprothrin, belongs to the class of pyrethroids, having high insecticidal potency. These pesticides are widely used in the field of agriculture, household, forestry, and horticulture, for the control of outdoor insect pests and other household pests.

Imiprothrin is a kind of pyrethroid consisting of an imidazolydinyl ring, which can find applications as a potent knock-down insecticide.

Application

Imiprothrin may be used as an analytical reference standard for the quantification of the analyte in whole blood, air samples, and indoor insecticide products,[1] river water samples using chromatography techniques.
