General description

Imazalil is a fungicide mostly used to avoid decay during postharvest. It is mostly used for fruits, vegetables and ornamental plants to control fungi growth.[1]

Application

Imazalil has been used as reference standard in direct analysis in real time mass spectrometry (DART-MS) technique for determination of xenobiotics from fruit samples. It may have been used as reference standard in Flow injection photoinduced chemiluminescence method for determination of Imazalil concentration from water samples.[1]
