General description

Emamectin benzoate is a macrocyclic insecticide found to be stable aqueous hydrolysis.[1] Avermectin B1 can be the starting material synthesizing emamectin benzoate. In some occasions, it is used as acaricide for vegetables, fruits and cereals.[2]

Application

Emamectin benzoate may be used as pesticide standard in supercritical fluid chromatography/tandem mass spectrometry (SFC/MS/MS) method for pesticide residue determination from brown rice, onion, and spinach samples.[3]
