General description

Fluazifop is a member of aryloxyphenoxypropionates herbicides and its mode of action involves the inhibition of acetyl-CoA carboxylase activity resulting in rapid necrosis of the meristematic tissue of plant species.[1]

Application

Fluazifop may be used as a reference standard for the determination of the analyte in soil and water samples by high-performance liquid chromatography method.[2]

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of herbicide fluazifop, on the early occurring changes in rat liver regarded as hepatic markers of peroxisome proliferators (PPs). Fluazifop was administered orally to male Wistar rats at increasing doses

Fluazifop-butyl, haloxyfop-ethoxyethyl and quizalofop-ethyl, active ingredients of new selective herbicidal preparations, as well as their metabolites converted in to corresponding methyl esters were separated on several gas chromatographic columns.
