General description

ATP-γ-S is a substrate and inhibitor of ATP-dependent enzyme systems. It is hydrolyzed very slowly by phosphatases and most ATPases.[1] Once thiophosphorylated, proteins are resistant to protein phosphatases.

Reconstituted aqueous solutions may lose content up to 10% year if stored at
-15 to -25 °C.
