General description

The phosphorylation of specific tyrosine residues has been shown to be a primary mechanism of signal transduction during normal mitogenesis, cell cycle progression and oncogenic transformation, its role in other areas such as differentiation and gap junction communication, is a matter of active and ongoing research. Antibodies that specifically recognize phosphorylated tyrosine residues have proved to be invaluable to the study of tyrosine phosphorylated proteins and the biochemical pathways in which they function.

Immunogen

recombinant protein corresponding to All Phosphotyrosine Protein.

Application

Anti-Phosphotyrosine, clone RM111 is an antibody against Phosphotyrosine for use in WB, ICC, IP, IH.
Immunoprecipitation Analysis: 1:1000 dilution of this antibody immunoprecipitated phosphotyrosine modified proteins from EGF-treated A431 cell lysate
Immunocytochemistry Analysis: 1:500 dilution of this antibody detected phosphotyrosine modified proteins from serum-starved A431 cells treated with EGF
Immunohistochemistry Analysis: 1:500 dilution of this antibody detected phosphotyrosine modified proteins from human lung cancer tissue
Luminex Analysis: This antibody demonstrated to only react with phosphorylated tyrosine when tested against a phospho and non-phospho amino acid panel
