General description
The cytoplasm is comprised of cytosol, the gel-like substance enclosed within the cell membrane, and cellular organelles, the cell′s internal sub-structures. It is within the cytoplasm that most cellular activities occur including signaling, metabolism, and processes such as cell division. The MABD128 monoclonal antibody has been raised against an enucleated HEK293 cell cytoplasm preparation and effectively identifies both Human and Mouse cytoplasm structures in immunocytochemical analysis. This antibody can serve as general marker for cytoplasm studying overall cell morphology and migration or as a counter stain to use alongside nuclear based antibodies, such as transcription factors.
Immunogen
HEK293 cell cytoplasm.
application
