Specificity

Monoclonal antibody MAB2008 is specific for the beta-3 subunit of the vitronectin receptor (VNR)J, which is expressed on endothelial cells, platelets, melanoma, and glioma cells. The antibody is of high affinity.

Immunogen

Membranes of freshly isolated human platelets.

Application

Detect Integrin β3 using this Anti-Integrin β3 Antibody, clone SAP validated for use in WB, IH, IH(P).
Immunohistochemistry (frozen and fixed tissue sections) including paraffin embedded sections. {See Van Belle et al 1999, original paper detailing the use in human, paraffin tissues}
