General description

Beviflex funnel is a ready-to-use, sterilized filter unit that combines a 100 mL funnel and a membrane filter in a single device offering a complete solution for bioburden testing. The filter unit is made of Polypropylene, SAN and the membrane is made of white gridded, mixed cellulose esters (MCE) with 0.45 µm pore size. The sealed integral membrane filter eliminates the need for membrane manipulation and handling, thus minimizing a major source of contamination and thereby improves bioburden testing reliability. The sealed membrane prevents the bypass phenomenon often found with other filtration systems. The Beviflex filtration unit enables faster filtration.

Application

Beviflex 100mL funnel with MCE membrane is used in Bioburden testing, water monitoring and general microbiological analysis of bottled water and beer. It is widely used in pharmaceutical, cosmetic and brewing industry
