General description

Delta(3,5)-Delta(2,4)-dienoyl-CoA isomerase, mitochondrial (ECH1) is a member of the enoyl-CoA hydratase/isomerase family. ECH1 is involved in isomerization of 3-trans,5-cis-dienoyl-CoA to 2-trans,4-trans-dienoyl-CoA as part of the fatty acid beta-oxidation and lipid metabolism pathways.

Specificity

Other homologies: Porcine (Pig), Mouse, and Rat (92% sequence homology).

This antibody recognizes ECH1 near the Near N-terminus.

Immunogen

Epitope: Near N-terminus

KLH-conjugated linear peptide corresponding to human ECH1 near the N-terminus.

Application

Detect ECH1 using this rabbit polyclonal antibody, Anti-ECH1 Antibody validated for use in western blotting & IHC (Paraffin).

Immunohistochemistry Analysis: A 1:500-2,000 dilution from a representative lot detected ECH1 in human cerebellum and human liver tissue.
