General description

Toll/interleukin-1 receptor domain-containing adapter protein (Tirap), also known as MyD88 adapter-like protein (Mal), contains one TIR domain that is involved in the TLR2 and TLR4 signaling pathways in the innate immune response. Toll-like receptors (TLRs) are signaling molecules that recognize different microbial products during infection serving as an important link between the innate and adaptive immune responses.

Specificity

This antibody recognizes the C-terminus of Tirap.

Immunogen

Epitope: C-terminus
KLH-conjugated linear peptide corresponding to the C-terminus of mouse Tirap.

Application

Detect Toll/interleukin-1 receptor domain-containing adapter protein using this rabbit polyclonal antibody, Anti-Tirap Antibody validated for use in western blotting, IHC & Immunofluorescence.
Immunohistochemistry Analysis: 2 µg/mL from a representative lot detected Tirap in human heart tissue.

Immunofluorescence Analysis: 10 µg/mL from a representative lot detected Tirap in human heart tissue.
