Specific for Norepinephrine Transporter (NET). Norepinephrine Transporter is a 617 amino acid long integral membrane protein belonging to the Sodium:Neurotransmitter Symporter family (Bruss et al. 1995; Melikian et al. 1994; Pacholczyk et al. 1991) The immunogen peptide shows no significant homology with other other known proteins.
Immunogen
A 22 amino acid peptide sequence mapping to the 1st extracellular domain of rat NET.
Application
This Anti-Norepinephrine Transporter Antibody is validated for use in ELISA, WB for the detection of Norepinephrine Transporter.
Western blot: 1-10 μg/mL (Chemiluminescence technique): NET can exist is at least two forms, a highly glycosylated ~80kDa form is the most common in brain, and a lessly glycosylated 54kDa form is also seen in some regions and tissues.
ELISA: 1:10,000-1:100,000 (50-100 ng immunogen peptide/well) Optimal working dilutions must be determined by the end user.

Alpha-synuclein (alpha-Syn) has been studied in the context of Parkinson's disease, but its normative role remains elusive. We have shown that alpha-Syn regulates the homeostasis of dopaminergic and serotonergic synapses, through trafficking of the dopamine and serotonin transporter, respectively. In

Central mechanisms involving mineralocorticoid receptor (MR) activation contribute to an increase in sympathetic tone after myocardial infarction (MI). We hypothesized that this central mechanism also contributes to cardiac sympathetic axonal sprouting and that central MR blockade reduces cardiac sympathetic hyperinnervation
Drug abuse is a risk factor for neurological complications in HIV infection. Cocaine has been shown to exacerbate HIV-associated brain pathology and enhance neurotoxicity of HIV-1 Tat and gp120 proteins. In this study, we found that the selective inhibitor of
The colorectum (late distal colon) is innervated by the sympathetic nervous system, and many colorectal diseases are related to disorders of the sympathetic nervous system. The sympathetic regulation of colorectal ion transport is rarely reported. The present study aims to

The anterior olfactory nucleus (AON) lies between the olfactory bulb and piriform cortex and is the first bilaterally innervated structure in the olfactory system. It is typically divided into two subregions: pars externa and pars principalis. We examined the cytoarchitecture
