Gene Information

human ... SLC12A7(10723)

Specificity

Recognizes K+ Cl- Cotransporter-4 (KCC4). The immunogen shows no significant sequence homology with other KCCs or CCC.

SPECIES REACTIVITIES: The immunogen sequence is 81% homologous with human KCC4. Reactivity with other species has not been confirmed.

Immunogen

A 16 amino acid peptide within the cytoplasmic, N-terminus of mouse KCC4.

Application

Anti-K+-Cl-Cotransporter 4 Antibody is an antibody against K+-Cl-Cotransporter 4 for use in ELISA & WB.
Western blot: 1-10 μg/mL using ECL.

Approximate size on reduced westerns is 120-140kDa; membrane preparations and proteinase inhibitors are strongly recommended. See protocol under Technical Service as www.chemicon.com.

ELISA: 1:10,000-1:100,000 using 50-100 ng control peptide per well.

Optimal working dilutions must be determined by the end user.

Physical form
