A potent agonist highly selective for α7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (α7 nAChR). Bioavaible admitted orally. Widely used in studies of the functional roles of α7 nAChR in learning and memory, sensory gating, and cognitive functions as well as Schizophrenia and Alzheimer′s disease.
