The GSK-3β Inhibitor XXV controls the biological activity of GSK-3β. This small molecule/inhibitor is primarily used for Phosphorylation & Dephosphorylation applications.
Synonym(s):
GSK-3β Inhibitor XXV, 5-(4-Nitrophenyl)-N-(3-chloro-4-methyl)phenyl-1,3,4-oxadiazol-2-amine, N-(3-Chloro-4-methylphenyl)-5-(4-nitrophenyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazol-2-amine, M SEW00923SC
A blood brain barrier permeable oxadiazole compound that acts as a potent, reversible and ATP-competitive inhibitor of GSK-3β activity (IC50 = 17.1 nM) with excellent selectivity over Cdk2 (22% inhibition at 10 µM). Shown to elevate liver glycogen levels by ~3.5- and ~4.3-fold in C57BL/6N mice when dosed at 5 and 15 mg/kg (i.p.) amounts.

9-cis-retinoic acid (9cRA) binds retinoic acid receptors (RAR) and retinoid X receptors (RXR) with nanomolar affinities, in contrast to all-trans-retinoic acid (atRA), which binds only RAR with nanomolar affinities. RXR heterodimerize with type II nuclear receptors, including RAR, to regulate
