General description
Application
- Sensitive determination in metabolic research: A study utilized (+/-)-4-Hydroxy-3-methoxymandelic Acid-D₃ in a gas chromatography-negative-ion chemical-ionization mass spectrometry analysis, providing a method for sensitive determination of tyrosine metabolites. This application supports the use of deuterated compounds in stable isotope-labeled tracer experiments to investigate metabolism in humans (Shimamura et al., 1986).
