General description

Methedrone norpseudoephedrine metabolite is a biomarker of the cathinone-derived designer drug methedrone, an illicit drug found in products sold as “research chemicals”, “bath salts” or “plant food”. Methedrone emerged in Europe after mephedrone, a popular synthetic cathinone, was banned in the spring of 2010. This certified solution standard is suitable for use in synthetic cathinone testing methods by LC/MS or GC/MS for clinical toxicology, forensic analysis, or urine drug testing applications.
