General description

An internal standard for Carisoprodol testing or isotope dilution methods by GC/MS or LC/MS for clinical toxicology, urine drug testing, pain prescription monitoring, or forensic analysis. Carisoprodol is a skeletal muscle relaxant sold under the trade names Soma® and Sanoma. The drug is abused recreationally, often for its heavy sedating, relaxant, and anxiolytic effects.
