18:0 PEG5000 PE, also known as 1,2-distearoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine-N-[methoxy(polyethylene glycol)-5000] (DSPE- PEG 5000), is a mPEG phospholipid conjugate. It belongs to a class of polymerizable lipids.

Application

18:0 PEG5000 PE or 1,2-distearoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine-N-[methoxy(polyethylene glycol)-5000] (DSPE-5K) has been used in the production of D−L microbubble.[1] It may also be used in preparation of liposomes for synthesis of light-activatable nanodroplets.[2]
