General description

DSPE-PEG(2000) Succinyl is widely used in liposome preparation.[1]
DSPE-PEG(2000) Succinyl or 1,2-distearoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine-N-[succinyl(polyethylene glycol)-2000] is a functionalized PEG lipid.

Application

DSPE-PEG(2000) Succinyl has been used in micelle synthesis.[2]
DSPE-PEG(2000) succinyl has been used to prepare PEGylated liposomes, to obtain sterically stabilized liposomes containing docetaxel.[3] It has also been used in liposomes for vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP) encapsulation, to achieve PEGylation.[4]
