General description

C18:1 anandamide phosphate is a phosphate ester of C18:1 anandamide. C18:1 anandamide, also known as N-oleoyl ethanolamide phosphate, is a N-acyl ethanolamide derivative of oleic acid. It is one of the major N-acylethanolamines (NAEs) in animal tissues.[1]

Biochem/physiol Actions

C18:1 anandamide or N-oleoyl ethanolamide exhibits appetite-suppressing activity by activating peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor (PPAR)-α or the G protein-coupled receptor 119 (GPR119).[1]
