2-[20-[(7-nitro-2-1,3-benzoxadiazol-4-yl)amino]arachidonoyl] glycerol (NBD 2-AG) is an endogenous ligand for the cannabinoid CB1 and CB2 receptors generally found in the central nervous system.[1]

2-AG plays vital role in many physiological processes as inflammation, food intake, stress and anxiety, locomotor activity, learning and memory, epileptogenesis and neuroprotection.[1]
