General description

Coag Reagent II synthetic has the phospholipids 1,2-dioleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine(DOPC) and 1,2-dioleoyl-sn-glycero-3-[phospho-l-serine] (DOPS) in the ratio 7:3w/w.

Application

Coag Reagent II may be used:
  • in preparation of liposomes for liposome mechanical properties determination [1]
  • as a component of solubilization and crystallization buffer for the chemokine receptor CCR5[2], in large unilamellar vesicles (LUVs) preparation for cyclooxygenase (COX1 and COX-2) incorporation[3]
  • in equilibration of chip coated with anti-glutathione-S-transferase (GST) antibody for surface plasmon resonance (SPR) binding assay[4]

Biochem/physiol Actions

1,2-dioleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine(DOPC) and 1,2-dioleoyl-sn-glycero-3-[phospho-l-serine] (DOPS) mimics biological membranes of endosomes and exosomes[5] and is useful in drug delivery.[1]
