General description

3β,7α-Dihydroxycholest-5-enoic acid-d3 is a deuterated derivative of 3β,7α-dihydroxycholest-5-enoic acid (3β,7α-diHCA). 3β,7α-diHCA is produced in the brain and it is a constituent of the cerebro spinal fluid (CSF).[1] It is a derivative of (25R)26-hydroxycholesterol (26-HC).[2]
