Application
Biocompatible, amphiphilic triblock polymer composed of a hydrophilic, central PEG block and two terminal hydrophobic poly(D,L-lactide) (PLA) blocks. These materials have been used in controlled release formulation and nanoparticle formation for drug delivery applications. Well-defined materials with varying properties can be prepared by controlling the relative length of each polymer block. Hydroxyl termination allows for facile further chemical modification of these materials.
