Application

Cd-free phosphor nanoparticles find applications in solid state lighting, sensors, security pigments etc. Our downshifting rare earth doped fluorescent nanoparticles are based on inorganic host lattices like sulfates, phosphates and vanadates which can be excited by a UV light source with strong emission at 275 nm. The emission characteristics of these nanoparticles have been tuned with dopants such as Bismuth, Cerium, Europium, Terbium etc. and are useful for the aforementioned applications.
