I would like to know approximately how many moles of carboxylic groups are present per gram of GO, as well as the size of the GO sheets. Could you also specify the type of synthesis method used for fabricating this kind of GO?

I was wondering can this product suitable for the conjugation with aptamers to construct the fluorescent sensor. The aptamer is modified by amine groups, which could be covalently absorbed with the carboxyl GO.
1 answer-
Yes, the functional groups of the carboxylic acid-enriched graphene oxide could be coupled to the primary amino groups of the aptamer using a water-soluble carbodiimide coupling reagent such as 1-Ethyl-3-(3-dimethylaminopropyl) carbodiimide hydrochloride (commonly called EDAC or EDC). This would form a strong amide linkage between the GO and the aptamer.
