Application

Aluminum oxide nanofibers have significant potential as support materials in heterogeneous catalysis and have been tested in numerous catalytic systems including methane reforming[1] and Fischer-Tropsch reactions.[2] Alumina nanowires can also serve to reinforce polymer composites and have been shown to directly effect the electronic properties of conductive polymers.[3],[4]
