General description

Cerium oxide, praseodymium doped (PDC-20) nanopowder is a fluorite-type oxide, which can be used as a non-toxic red and orange ceramic pigment. It can be prepared by a variety of techniques such as microwave-assisted hydrothermal (MAH) method, flux method and carbonate-coprecipitation method.[1][2][3]

PDC-20 can be used for a variety of applications such as:
