Poly(9H-carbazole-9-ethyl methacrylate) (PCz) is an electron donor based polymer which has carbazole as the pendant groups. It can be prepared from 2-(9 H -carbazol-9-yl)ethanol.[1][2][3]
Application
NLO polymer
PCz can be used as a non-linear optical polymer for the development of diode memory devices and organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs).[4][5]
