Application

Isobutyraldehyde has been used to investigate the renewable production of isobutyraldehyde from engineered Escherichia coli.[1] It is also used as reagent during the epoxidation of cis-cyclooctene on iron complexed to acetylacetonate (acac)/silica xerogel.[2]
