Description

General description

Poly(vinyl alcohol-co-ethylene) (PVA-co-PE) is a hydrophilic non-toxic polymer with good film forming ability. Its other properties include biocompatibility, high tensile strength and low fouling potential.[1]

Application

PVA-co-PE can be used in the formation of nanofibrous membranes for the development of high performance adsorption materials.[2] It can also be used to form membranes for potential applications such as lithium ion batteries, biosensors and microfluidic devices.[3][4]
