General description

5-Nitroisoquinoline reacted with vinylmagnesium bromide to form a number of pyrroloisoquinolines[1]. 5-Nitroisoquinoline derivatives (potential antimalarial drugs) were evaluated for mutagenic (MUT) and chromosome-damaging (CHR) activities by the Salmonella test[2].
