Absolute Molar Mass Determination in Mixed Solvents: This research utilizes Polystyrene standards, specifically focusing on the molecular weight calibration of high molecular weight polymers through SEC/MALS/DRI techniques in mixed solvents.; (Striegel, 2022).

Biodegradable Foams for Sustainable Packaging:;In the preparation and characterization of biodegradable foams using cassava starch, where Polystyrene is used as disposable packaging and building insulation materials. (Amaraweera et al., 2022).

Chiral Ion Exchangers in Enantioselective Chromatography:;Polystyrene standards are used for measuring the porosities of packed columns via inverse size exclusion chromatography. (Geibel et al., 2019).

Components

ReadyCal Standards are polymer cocktails pre-weighed into autosampler vials for the convenient calibration of GPC/SEC/GFC systems.
This kit contains 10 sets of 3 color-coded vials, each containing four polystyrenes of different molar masses. Molar masses range from ~350 to ~2,500,000 Da and are carefully selected so that polymer traces are baseline separated.
Each kit contains sufficient material for at least 10 calibrations.
Suitable for calibrations in THF, toluene, DMF, DMAc, chloroform, TCB, DCB and NMP.

Two bacterial strains able to produce polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHAs) from a wide variety of pure carbon sources (dextrose, xylose, sucrose, lactose and glycerol) were isolated from forest soils and identified as Achromobacter mucicolens and Stenotrophomonas rhizophila. Achromobacter mucicolens also produced poly(3-hydroxybutyrate)

Although we have obtained porcine pluripotent stem cell lines (pPSCs) from blastocysts, the cells exhibit flat clonal morphology and do not support single-cell passage. There is massive cell death after cell dissociation, and the efficiency of single-cell colony is generally
