How is shipping temperature determined? And how is it related to the product storage temperature?

Products may be shipped at a different temperature than the recommended long-term storage temperature. If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature. As shipping routes are configured for minimum transit times, shipping at ambient temperature helps control shipping costs for our customers. The 1-dodecanol comes in solid form but I need it in solution. Which solvent can I use to do so?

1-dodecanol is not offered in liquid format only. This product , along with product 126799 and W261718, consists of a "Solid or Liquid" specification. The melting point of the product (mp 22-26 °C (lit.) is around room temperature - the ambient temperature will influence whether or not this product will be in its solid or liquid form. That is why the specification lists the form as either solid or liquid.
