How can I determine the shelf life / expiration / retest date of this product?

If this product has an expiration or retest date, it will be shown on the Certificate of Analysis (COA, CofA). If there is no retest or expiration date listed on the product's COA, we do not have suitable stability data to determine a shelf life. For these products, the only date on the COA will be the release date; a retest, expiration, or use-by-date will not be displayed.
For all products, we recommend handling per defined conditions as printed in our product literature and website product descriptions. We recommend that products should be routinely inspected by customers to ensure they perform as expected.

How do I make up 25cP, 50cP, 100cP viscosity solutions with the M0262 methyl cellulose?

The viscosity of this product can reach 300-560 cP when forming a 2% solution in water at 20 °C. To prepare 25 cP, 50 cP, and 100 cP viscosity solutions, the 2% solution must be further diluted. In general, the viscosity of a solution will decrease with dilution, but the relationship is not always strictly proportional. Therefore, it is essential to use a viscometer to accurately measure the viscosity after each dilution step to achieve the desired viscosity levels.
