Conductivity is not measured at different temperatures to create a correction table. Over typical measurement temperatures, the industry standard is a correction factor of 2% per °C. The CRM should be used to calibrate or confirm the conductivity meter, which should read 25 µmhos/cm at 25 °C. If a reading of 25 µmhos/cm is not obtained, the instrument may require adjustment. Alternatively, the standard correction factor or another factor can be used to calculate acceptance criteria at the measurement temperature.
