Description générale

Centrifugalize low- to moderate-speed, large-volume, biological and chemical samples with these PPCO centrifuge bottles, which include a sealing closure for added leakproof assurance at maximum speeds when spinning hazardous materials. Molded of rigid and robust polypropylene copolymer, these translucent bottles are designed for pelleting applications, such as cell culture harvesting and protein biochemistry, including ammonium sulfate precipitations. Autoclavable with excellent mechanical strength.

  1. Are these bottles are suitable for Eppendorf's Himac high-speed centrifuge (model CR22N)?

    1. Unfortunately, this centrifuge bottle is not compatible with the Eppendorf CR22N. This item lists a Max. RCF of 27,500 x g while the Eppendorf CR22N lists a Max. RCF of 58,700 x g.

  2. Is this product autoclavable? If so, at what parameters?

    1. Yes, this product is autoclavable. The recommended protocol is 121°C and 15 psig for 15 minutes.

  3. Does the sealing cap have a built-in gasket, or an O-ring?

    1. This product features a simple friction closure in the form of a screw cap. A built-in gasket or O-ring is not included.
