Description générale

The gene zinc finger SWIM domain-containing protein-5 (ZSWIM5) is mapped to human chromosome 1p34.1. The protein show strong cytoplasmic localization and high expression in human glioblastoma cells.

Application

Actions biochimiques/physiologiques

RNAseq data from sarcoma samples, obtained from osteosarcoma patient, showed presence of a fusion transcript between the genes lemur tyrosine kinase-2 (LMTK2) and zinc finger SWIM domain-containing protein-5 (ZSWIM5).
