Application

Celecoxib may be used as a pharmaceutical reference standard for the determination of the analyte in wastewater samples and animal samples by various chromatography techniques.

These are suitable for use in several analytical applications including but not limited to pharma release testing, pharma method development for qualitative and quantitative analyses, food and beverage quality control testing, and other calibration requirements.

Actions biochimiques/physiologiques

Celecoxib is a non-steroidal, anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) and a cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) selective inhibitor. Celecoxib is at least 10-20 times more selective for COX-2 over COX-1.
