Description générale

Amphetamine, a stimulant of the phenethylamine class, is found in ADHD-treatment drugs such as Adderall®, Vyvanse®, and ProCentra®. Because of its stimulant effect, amphetamine is used recreationally as a performance-enhancer and illicit drug. This Certified Spiking Solution® is applicable for use in urine drug testing, sports testing, clinical toxicology, or forensic analysis applications by LC-MS/MS or GC/MS.

Application

  • The research utilizes amphetamine as a model compound to validate new toxicological screening methods, improving postmortem diagnostic processes and forensic investigations (Franzin et al., 2024).
  • The study Investigates innovative sample preparation technologies for detecting amphetamines in biological matrices, pushing forward the capabilities in toxicological analysis and monitoring (Fabris et al., 2024).
