General description

Macrophage/monocyte chemotactic protein-2 (MCP-2) plays an important role in the inflammatory response of blood monocytes, activated T cells, basophils, NK cells, and immature dendritic cells. Recombinant mouse MCP-2 is an 8.5 kDa protein containing 74 amino acid residues.

Physical form

Sterile filtered and then lyophilized without any additives.

Reconstitution

Centrifuge the vial prior to opening. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Reconstitute in water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL. This solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers.
