General description

The Precision Column PC 3.2/30 (2.4 ml), prepacked with Superose 6, is designed for sensitive and highly resolving gel filtration separations of biomolecules in the micropreparative scale. Superose 6 has a broad fractionation range for molecular weights between 5000 and 5 000 000.

Features and Benefits

  • Achieve high-resolution separations across exceptionally broad molecular-weight ranges with Superose gel filtration medium.
  • Precision columns (PC) for micropurification and analysis: sample volumes of 4 - 50 μL.
  • Low ionic strength eluents (< 0.05 M) can utilize a hydrophobic interaction component to alter the selectivity of Superose for some lipids, peptides, and small aromatic compounds.
  • New hardware design for convenient direct connection to high performance chromatography systems such as ÄKTA design.
