General description

ERM-DA470k/IFCC replaces the former product ERM-DA470. The new reference material is certified for 12 serum proteins. The material is the lyophilised form of processed serum, and is certified for A2M, AAG, AAT, ALB, C3C, C4, HPT, IgA, IgG, IgM, TRF and TTR.

Application

Human serum has been used in a study to assess the ability of a peptide-modified magnetic microbead for voltammetric sensing of soybean agglutinin (SBA) added in human serum.

We used an electron-transfer carbohydrate-mimetic peptide (YYYYC) to construct an electrochemical cytosensing system. Magnetic beads were modified with either asialofetuin (ASF) or soybean agglutinin (SBA) to evaluate the effect on cell sensing. Because SBA binds to the galactose residue that

For use in the voltammetric sensing of galactose-dependent proteins, we modified magnetic beads with a peptide that had both electroactive- and molecular recognition properties. The peptide consisted of a YXY sequence and behaved as an electron-transfer carbohydrate-mimetic peptide that would

Protein sieving, which is a fundamental tool in the biotechnology field, can be automated using capillary gel electrophoresis. The high-viscosity and biocompatible linear gels required for capillary sieving must be replaced for each run using high pressures. Thermally responsive gels
