Streptavidin isolated from Streptomyces avidinii covalently bound to agarose.

Application

Streptavidin, agarose conjugate has been used in:
  • immunoprecipitation
  • coimmunoprecipitation
  • reversible biotinylation assay
It is suitable for the purification of biotinylated macromolecules.

Quality

routinely evaluated by immunoprecipitating tyrosine-phosphorylated proteins from a RIPA lysate prepared from EGF-stimulated A431 cells with a biotinylated monoclonal phosphotyrosine antibody (16-103)
