General description

The Reflectoquant® Blank test strips incorporate paperzones not impregnated with reagent. They are used to perform tests to see whether the color of a sample (e.g. red juice) stays on the paper of the blank zones. A difference in color can indicate that the intrinsic color of the sample may affect results obtained with other Reflectoquant® test strips. For decolorization we then suggest to pre-treat the sample with Polyvinylpolypyrrolidone (Divergan®, 1.07302). Various application notes for these special samples are available.
