General description
Application
It can be used to prepare superhydrophobic polymer nanocomposites. For example, PVDF-HFP- SiO2 composite can be used to enhance the thermochromism in regioregular poly(3-hexylthiophene), P3HT.
It can also be used to prepare lead-free piezoelectric flexible polymer composites for nanogenerators. PVDF-HFP can be preferred over other polymer matrices because of its higher solubility, greater free volume, and better mechanical strength.
